Shared Value Project

To save myself the trouble of coming up with a website, I'm going to splash some ideas here for now just so I have somewhere to go to if I want to work on it.

From the Shared Value Project website there are references to different contributors and their articles under the resources tab.

Will look these up and read them to see where they lead me.

One of the links leads to the Commission on the Measurement of Economic Performance and Social Progress, a read for another day.

Another website of interest is the Stanford Social Innovation Review

There is also the Isis Research Centre blog at UBC, part of the Sauder School of Business

Metro Vancouver youth for action

Another concept to further investigate is Kaizen, which is a concept of continuous improvement

Lynette Shultz & Shelane Jorgenson.  Conceptualizing Global Citizenship Education

Moving away from shareholder value, a concept originated in the 1980s, has transformed into value creation.  This concept has been adopted by companies like DSM.

DSM has embraced embedding sustainability and shared value into its corporate structure.  There is an integrated annual report along with a clear section for sustainability on its website.website.

Of marshmallows and delayed gratification - a blog post i came across describing an interesting behavioral experiment

The concept of social networking to help connect people dealing with debt issues.  Came across one at iVillage and there undoubtedly more.
